Mistari — lines, in Swahili. A study in contrast and calm. This mid-length kimono is cut from soft black Kikoy with bold grey lines — hand-woven on a black base, the grey stripes suggest movement and stillness held in balance.
Wear it over a vest and linen pants, or as a statement on its own.
Handmade in our Utawala, Nairobi studio.
